Dare to Walk the Trails at Monster Mash

Dear Parents of Cub Scouts,

Monster Mash is coming up soon. It is a fun event held at Camp Lazarus (on Hwy 23). There are two haunted trails though the woods: “a bit scary” and “not really”. Event runs on Friday and Saturday night for two weekends: October 20-21 and 27-28.

And, if you register by Wednesday, you can save 2 bucks off each ticket and get a collectible patch! 🙂

Web page: https://skcscouts.org/th_event/monstermash/

It takes about 2 hours to get on and walk the trail. There is a less scary trail available for younger children. On some trails you may bump into older scouts volunteering as “scarers.” Traditionally there are various snacks, refreshments and a hay ride at the end of the trail.

Participants don’t even have to scouts to participate! Invite your friends and neighbors!

Hope to see you there (each on both weekends),

Pavel Belov
Assistant Cubmaster
