Friends of Pack 197,
As some of you know, we have an optional interfaith worship service on Sundays before departure from camp. As our spring camp out approaches, I wanted to invite any cub who wants to share his or her story, to feel welcome to do so at Cold Toes. No “testimony” required, any opportunity to share in fellowship is important. If any cub would like to give a couple of quick thoughts on what “Duty to God” means, share a lesson learned, shout in joy, or participate at any level, they are encouraged to do so.
The service is interfaith. We take the time to recognize and focus on our spiritual development. The service is open to anyone, and I am always open to having representatives from any background assist in leading the service.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, some musical talent is needed. I sing, horribly, during service. If your cub has got the music bug, I’m looking for singers or musicians to show off their talents and “Lift a Joyful Noise”. (Could be a great opportunity to see how those lessons you are paying for are working out, wink).
Let me know if you cub is interested in participating, or simply join me at camp.
Yours in Scouting,
-Bennett
