DECEMBER INFORMATION
Category : News
Greetings, Pack 197!
Here is the latest and greatest from our December Committee Meeting!
- We are looking for volunteers (always), but specifically to take over the positions of Advancement and Training. If you are interested in either of these, or helping for anything at all, please see your Den Leader, Bob O’Bryan, or Rob Bryant.
- We sold over $30,000 in popcorn this year! That beats the past couple of years, for sure! Congrats on a job well done, Scouts!
- We picked up approximately 600 bags of food for WARM (or about 2,000 pounds) during our November service project. Nice work, everyone!
- Bell ringing at Cabela’s will happen tomorrow (Saturday, December 8). Thanks to everyone who has signed up to ring!
- Our December Pack Meeting (on December 17) will include a visit from the Columbus Zoo and the distribution of Pinewood Derby cars!
- January 5 is a Scouting Ski Day at Mad River Mountain. Check out the Simon Kenton website for details.
- There will be a Pinewood Derby clinic on January 12. This is an optional event, and will help the scouts create the shape for their car. Be on the lookout for more information about this.
- Clear your calendars! Day Camp for 2019 will be June 10-14.
That’s the news for now! Take care, all!
Yours In Scouting,
April Hyer
