2015 Service Project at McNamara Park

Come and join us for a spring service project at McNamara Park on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015.
The Genoa Township’s Parks Department would like our pack to help beautify
the East entrance to the McNamara Park. This is a great service project for
your scout. It is quick (only a couple of hours) and many scouts get to
complete help neighborhood/ citizenship part of their rank requirements.
- All Pack 197 scouts and their family members are invited.
- Dig holes for plants and flowers and installing weed control fabric
around them. - Location: East entrance to the McNamara Park (from the Old. State Rt 3.).
- Equipment to bring: Rake, shovel, sun/safety glasses, gardening
gloves, knee pads or mats, water bottle. Wear work/gardening clothes.
Plants & supplies as well as picnic tables will be available.
